LMRP Coordinator In Illinois Job Details

Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Obtain orders, request additional information as needed, analyze, and maintain diagnostic or other medical information from the ordering physicians on all procedural outpatients. All duties are performed in accordance with established policies, procedures and guidelines to secure this information in a timely manner.

Requirements of the position include:
1.  Graduate of an accredited nursing school with current licensure in the State of Illinois as a registered nurse (RN) 
2. Minimum of 2 years of current nursing experience. 
3. Demonstrate ability to apply critical thinking to complex diagnostic solutions. 
4. Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with physicians, their office staff and Memorial Medical Center personnel.
5. Working knowledge of word processing/computer skills preferred.
6. Comprehension of MMC clinical services and procedure requirements.
7. Requied to work idependently for extended periods at desk utilizing computer terminal 
8. Demonstrates knowledge in medical terminology, CPT 4, HCPCS, and ICD-9 CM coding.
9. Previous experience with Medicare, SMS and NDAS software desired, but not required.
10. Demonstrates initiative, self-direction and motivation skills.
11. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
12. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
