Painter In Illinois Job Details

Basic Function: Under minimal supervision, paints and redecorates walls, ceilings, woodwork and fixtures of the Medical Center following established work orders and safety regulations.

1.  High school diploma or equivalent.

2.  Knowledge of surface peculiarities and types of paint required

3.  Demonstrated ability to mix paint to proper consistency or color.

4.  Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail for long periods of time.

5.   A minimum of four years experience as a painter or equivalent training/experience.

6.     Must possess valid Illinois drivers license and must be deemed as an acceptable driver in accordance with the MHS Fleet Safety Policy (five year MVR will be required).
