High school diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of 2 years experience working with developmentally disabled individuals in a treatment setting are required. Must have knowledge of clients behavioral and developmental problems; requires knowledge of Illinois Department of Human Services-approved behavioral modification techniques. Knowledge of rehabilitation programs, operational methods and equipment required.  Position requires the ability to teach, supervise, inspect and document activities.

Assists Program Manager in planning and developing therapeutic activities designed to prepare clients for program participation.  Instructs clients in activities designed for developing good self-care, work readiness skills, socialization, behavior skills, and/or instructs and supervises clients in actual work.  Provides required documentation necessary to track clients' progress.
