Basic Function: Nurse Intern positions are currently available for the summer of 2011. Clinical sites are negotiated at the time of hire. Opportunities include: Adult Medical/Surgical, Perioperative Services, Intensive Care, Emergency Services, Psychiatry, and Burn Center. Nurse Interns will work under the direct supervision of an RN and provide age-appropriate care for a designated group of patients through the appropriate utilization of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. You will work closely with the RN to assimilate the act upon data reflective of the patient's status and to develop organizational and critical thinking skills.

Requirements for this position include: successful completion of junior year with an anticipated graduation date of December 2011 or Spring 2012; G.P.A. of 3.0 or greater is required; current CPR certification.
