Under direct supervision, provides day-to-day customer contact and actively seeks resolution to customer problems with designated product line(s) on-site. Interfaces with technical and in-house customer service personnel to determine exact nature of problem and implements remedial procedures for customer. Documents problems and correction procedures. Attends on-going training sessions to achieve higher level of technical skill.
Requirements for this position include:
1. Associate Degree in computer science, business, or related discipline, or three years equivalent experience in a systems related job.
2. General understanding of computer system concepts including hardware, software, operating systems, and communications.
3. Minimum two years in an Application Analyst Associate or equivalent experience in a systems support position.
4. Thorough understanding of assigned application functions and structure of existing systems at MHS.
5. Demonstrated skill in developing and maintaining good interpersonal relationships as well as having good verbal and written communication skills.
6. System support may include, but not limited to, 24 hour and/or weekend call for
systems.
7. Light physical effort.
