CVOR Support Specialist I In Illinois Job Details

Schedule: Full Time
Shift: Days and Weekend Rotation
Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with Weekends On Call

Performs tasks and duties to provide optimum inventory of supplies, equipment, and instrumentation; support services which assist in optimum functioning of the operating room; daily cleaning of the operating rooms, equipment, lounges, locker rooms, scrub areas and offices.  Quality control and/or calibration of CVOR equipment.

Requirements for this position include:

1.       High school graduate.

2.       Ability to follow written/verbal directions.

3.       Knowledge of asepsis, desirable.

4.       Ability to acquire clinical skills to perform techniques required.

5.       Considerable physical effort.

6.       CPR certification.

7.       Good communication skills.

8.       Knowledge of surgical instruments desirable.

9.       Knowledge of O2 therapy

10.    Ability to perform point of care testing.

11.    Computer skills required.
