Basic Function: Responsible for answering incoming calls to main hospital switchboard and determine appropriate resolution. Accurately transfer calls, answer questions and provide overhead paging for hospital. Responsible for answering Stat and Rapid Response calls, Prairie Heart Stat Heart calls and Springfield Clinic SCMI calls.
Requirements for this position include:
- High School Graduate. Associate degree or post secondary education desired.
- Minimum typing skill of 40 WPM.
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated organizational skills.
- Demonstrates ability to work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
