Master?s degree in human services field plus LCPC or LCSW licensure with three (3) years experience in mental health field required. Proven ability to consistently meet agency productivity standards is required.  Previous supervisory experience highly desirable. Must have Valid IL Driver?s License, Must be able to pass agency background check and DCFS fingerprinting. Must have keyboarding and computer skills as required by position.

Ensures continuity of care for child & adolescent persons suffering from mental illness through direct clinical intervention, monitoring and advocating functions. The Lead is responsible for providing supervisory assistance to Director regarding daily operations of the team staff, interns, and clients. Duties include assisting the Director in completing performance evaluations, training and supervising, and other special projects.

Make sure COP documentation and compliance with all funding sources and agency policy and procedures. In coordination with Director, supervise staff case assignments and caseloads.

Develop initial comprehensive assessment data including clients? presenting problems, mental status, relevant psychiatric, medical and developmental histories to make decisions regarding diagnosis (per DSM-IV-TR), treatment objectives and ongoing treatment plans and/or to provide information and make appropriate referrals to other treatment resources in the community.

Interview collateral contacts, previous and current treatment professionals, and significant others, to further establish a database for assessment and ongoing treatment plan as needed.
