Athletic Trainer In Illinois Job Details

Basic Function: Responsible for the provision of quality care to athletes of all ages through the proper utilization of assessment, planning, implementation and instruction.  All procedures carried out in accordance with established standards, policies, protocols and guidelines.  Serves as a clinical resource for staff, students and area coaches

Requirements for this position include:

1.       Illinois Certified Athletic Trainer.

2.       Bachelor of Art or Bachelor of Science degree.

3.       Health care system experience preferred yet not required.

4.       Good communication skills

5.       CPR certification preferred.

6.       Universal Precautions Category I.

7.       Must possess valid Illinois drivers license and must be deemed as an acceptable driver in accordance with the MHS Fleet Safety Policy (five year MVR will be required).  Must be able to operate automatic shift vehicle.
