Performs assessment of educational needs, designs, develops, implements and evaluates educational programming to meet the learning needs of Memorial Health System employees. Delivers and facilitates educational programs to create a culture that supports and promotes staff well-being, satisfaction, excellence in performance, and personal development. Serves as a resource person and consultant to managers in the development and implementation of educational programs.
1. Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing.
2. Registered Nurse with current licensure in the State of Illinois.
3. Two years experience in nursing.
4. Two years experience planning and conducting training programs in educational or healthcare setting.
5. Demonstrated understanding of adult learning styles and instructional methods.
6. Demonstrated outstanding verbal and written communications skills.
7. Demonstrated outstanding presentation, facilitation and group process skills.
8. Demonstrated ability to use word processing, spreadsheet, e-mail and presentation software.
9. Certified Technical Trainer, or completion of certification process within 4 months of employment. (provided after employment)
10. American Society of Training and Development (ASTD) Training Certificate, or completion of certification process within 6 months of employment. (provided after employment)
