The EMPI Analyst will provide technical support, maintenance, front line production support, and project planning.  This position will have report writing responsibilities, provide analytical support and testing coordination.  The EMPI Analyst will provide technical and subject matter expertise, problem identification, coordination with various departments, and data collection for technological and process improvement initiatives.  Under the direction of the Director/Manager, the EMPI Analyst will perform all tasks and duties in accordance with established standards, policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines.


 


Requirements of the position include:


1.     Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Business, Health Care; or related discipline or equivalent experience in clinical operations, business, Information Systems, or other related field.


2.     Two to four years of Information Technology, project management or experience on large departmental application build.


3.     Three to five years of departmental experience in assigned department?s position supports, or equivalent experience.


4.     Demonstrated understanding of computer systems and processing.


5.     Evidence of leadership, training, creativity, integrity, and initiative.


6.     Must possess strong oral and written communication skills, planning skills, problem-solving skills, and change management skills. 


7.     Extremely strong skills in personal diplomacy; demonstrates personal traits of a high level of motivation, team orientation, professionalism and trustworthiness.


8.     Must have experience in medium to large project management, possess sound decision-making ability, operate well under pressure and be tenacious in resolving difficult problems.


9.     Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with staff at all levels of the organization required, including medical staff.


10.  Support the department director on all key strategic initiatives and daily operational tasks.


11.  Availability for system support which may include, but is not limited to, 24 hour and/or weekend call for systems.
