Physician Educator (MPS Focused) In Illinois Job Details

Performs assessment of educational needs, designs, develops, implements and evaluates physician education programming to meet the learning needs of Physicians, Residents, Medical Students, Mid-level Basic Function: Providers and Physician Office Staff.  Delivers and facilitates physician education to ensure staff competency and development related to all aspects of hardware and software.   Serves as a resource person and consultant in the development and implementation of physician education programs.

Requirements for this position include:

1.      Bachelor?s degree in education, communication, healthcare administration, or related field.

2.      Two years experience planning and conducting training programs in an educational or corporate setting.

3.      Demonstrated understanding of adult learning styles and instructional methods.

4.      Demonstrated outstanding verbal and written communications skills.

5.      Demonstrated outstanding presentation, facilitation and group process skills.

6.      Demonstrated ability to use word processing, spreadsheet, e-mail and presentation software.

7.      Certified Technical Trainer, or completion of certification process within 4 months of employment.

8.      American Society of Training and Development (ASTD) Training Certificate, or completion of certification process within 6 months of employment.
