Basic Function:

The Manager, Radiology Systems is responsible for the day-to?day operations of specialized

patient care systems and medical devices related to Radiology. Responsible for planning,

organizing, managing, communicating, and controlling the analysis, evaluation, design,

maintenance, and support of complex and highly integrated computer-based application

software.   Responsible for patient charge master maintenance within the Dept of Radiology.

Acts as the liaison with Decision Support, Information Services, Clinical Radiologists, and all

other MHS affiliates concerning Radiology imaging and billing issues.

Requirements for this position include:

1.    Bachelor?s degree in Business / Health Administration, Radiological Technology or Computer Science or comparable and significant experience is required.

2.    Three (3) to five (5) years successful experience in a supervisory capacity in a technical imaging or computer science role.

3.    Active registration / license in one or more diagnostic imaging modality preferred.

4.    Demonstrated process improvement and facilitation skills.

5.    Demonstrated superior human relations, verbal, communication and customer relations skills.
