Basic Function: Under the supervision of the Clinical Manager, performs the primary function of an RN in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients in the Wound Healing Center. Is responsible for meeting the established WHC Standards of Nursing Practice in the management of all assigned patients. Assists physicians with the development and implementation of wound treatment plans and participates in performance improvement review activities. Acts within the guidelines of federal and state laws, JCAHO standards and professional and ethical practice.

Specifications: Knowledge, Training, Work Experiences & Physical Effort
? Registered Nurse, graduate from an approved School of Nursing required. ? Current state licensure required. ? Minimum of 2 years medical/surgical experience required. Wound care experience preferred. ? Current CPR certification required. ? Must be able to position and/or transfer an average adult patient and possess gross coordination sufficient to perform other patient care duties as required. Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing. Must be able to perform difficult manipulative skills. ? Environmental working conditions include exposure to blood, bodily fluids and tissue, contagious diseases and/or radioactive or other potentially hazardous materials.
