Basic Function:  Assists the Director of Clinical Services in managing the clinic and administering the nursing and other clinical programs.  Assists with evaluating, developing, recommending and implementing clinic policies and procedures related to the delivery of safe and efficient quality patient care.  Ensures compliance with established standards, practices and regulatory requirements by all nursing and allied health personnel.  Assists in the planning, managing and directing of a staff of nursing, allied health and nursing support staff.  Maintains effective communication with physicians, staff and clinic manager.   Is the lead position with all clinical staff in effective utilization of the electronic health record and in creating a Great Patient Experience.

Specifications: Knowledge, Training, Work Experiences:

1)      Registered Nurse licensed in Illinois with graduation from an accredited school of Nursing required; bachelor's degree in Nursing with course work emphasis relating to patient care management and health services administration preferred.  

2)      Five years experience in direct patient care in an ambulatory setting required.

3)      1-3 years of supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership ability required.

4)      Valid state license to practice professional nursing.

5)      Demonstrated outstanding clinical expertise, organization and leadership abilities.

6)      Demonstrated outstanding organizational and process skills.

7)      Demonstrated outstanding ability to communicate with patients and physicians in all situations.
