Equipment Service Technician In Illinois Job Details

Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with weekends as needed

Receives, inspects, and disassembles home medical equipment and performs the

necessary cleaning and maintenance to properly care for the equipment. Performs

operational verification performance checks to ensure proper function, and as necessary,

refers to repair technician for troubleshooting and/or repair.

Requirements of the position include:

1.                  Education equivalent to graduation from high school is required.

2.                  A strong mechanical and assembly aptitude is required; basic electrical knowledge is preferred.

3.                  Possesses basic personal computer skills, with the ability to retrieve and enter limited amounts of data is required.

4.                  Ability to lift up to 150 pounds daily and occasionally push, pull, and/or maneuver up to 175 pounds is required.

5.                  Ability to use a variety of cleaning solvents and chemical agents in the cleaning and maintenance of equipment.

6.                  Must possess valid Illinois drivers license and must be deemed as an acceptable driver in accordance with the MHS Fleet Safety Policy (five year MVR will be required).

7.                  Good oral communication, customer relations, and interpersonal skills are required.
