Basic Function:  The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is "imbedded" in the served affiliate(s) working as a strategic people and talent management partner with leaders, frontline managers and staff in the assigned affiliate(s).  The HRBP establishes and maintains a presence in the served affiliate(s), attends and participates in staff meetings and also participates actively in leadership and management forums.  The HRBP focuses his or her attention on all aspects of Human Resources Management and Human Resources Development at the level of an internal consultant and also as a liaison between the affiliate(s) and the functional Human Resources Division. 


 


Strong working partnerships are required with the affiliate(s) leadership team and the functional Human Resources Division.


 


Requirements for this position include:



  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required. 

  2. A minimum of five years experience in Human Resources, preferably in a high growth and changing environment.      

  3. PHR or SPHR credential preferred

  4. Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local laws, regulations and requirements regarding employment and employment activities.

  5. Effective strategist and practitioner with a solid track record of successful HR program implementation

  6. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with all levels of an organization

  7. Strong analytical skills and a passion for data and its application in decision making and planning

  8. Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work within a constantly changing environment with enthusiasm
