PFS Project Manager In Illinois Job Details

Basic Function: The PFS Project Manager will lead, manage and insure the well being of PFS department thru project management by ensuring department efficiency and effective in meeting patient expectations.  On an annual basis, the PFS department manages approx. 1 B of gross revenue, 500M net, and 450K patient accounts

Requirements for this position include:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or closely related field.  MBA and / or CPA are strongly preferred


2. Three or more years of management experience in managing the collection of customer accounts is required. Healthcare experience is strongly preferred


3. Six or more years in billing, collection or project experience in a health care industry, with strong knowledge in Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial and managed care Insurance reimbursement methods.


4. Excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to lead and direct.


5. Proven organizational, analytical, and financial analysis skills.


6. Proven effective negotiation, customer service, facilitation, change management, and conflict resolution skills.


7. Previous experience in managing external suppliers is preferred.


8. Possesses a working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, project, and database, and presentation computer application software. Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Project, Access, and Power Point) is required.
