ALMH - Materials Management Tech In Illinois Job Details

Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with Rotating Weekends On-Call

Basic Function: 

Maintain and monitor the par levels and inventories of medical supplies and coordinate their timely delivery to our customers.

To control incoming equipment by assigning asset tags and starting the equipment control process.

Specifications:  Knowledge, Training, Work Experiences:

1.                  Graduation from high school, or the equivalent. Previous experience within the healthcare industry and with medical products, equipment, shipping/mailing, record retention and/or printing are preferred.

2.                  Possesses basic math and keyboarding skills.

3.                  Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills.

4.                  Basic proficiency with personal computers and their associated applications, including spreadsheet software. Previous experience with Microsoft products, such as Excel, is preferred.

5.                  Demonstrates the ability to multi-task autonomously while working on multiple responsibilities simultaneously.              

6.                  Must possess valid Illinois drivers license and must be deemed as an acceptable driver in accordance with the MHS Fleet Safety Policy (five year MVR will be required).    

7.                  Possesses the ability to be on 24 hour call in status during weekends and holidays
