Telemetry Technician In Illinois Job Details

Hours: 2:45 p.m. - 11:15 p.m.

Basic Functions: The position serves to promote constant surveillance of telemetries and to report all arrhythmias immediately so that life-threatening situations can be prevented or treated. Candidate will maintain all telemetry monitoring functions, including calculations of basic information on telemetry strips.

Requirements for this position include: high school graduate or equivalent; preferred one-two years experience in the medical field; successfully completed basic EKG training during the first MMC offering; certification in cardiac technology by the American Cardiology Association is preferred; successfully complete 16 hours of 12-lead EKG training within 3 months of hire date.
