Nursing Administrative Supervisor In Illinois Job Details

Basic Function: Assures the continuity of medical center operations by assuming administrative responsibility for nursing personnel/activities and the administrative coordination of medical center personnel/activities on assigned shifts. Functions as a patient advocate and as leader/mentor/advisor for nursing personnel.  Actively participates in and supports the development, operationalization, and evaluation of major change initiatives.

Requirements for this position include: Registered nurse licensure in the state of IL; Holds or is pursuing a baccalaureate degree; 2-3 years of current acute care experience as a RN required; Supervisory experience preferred; Demonstrates: Outstanding human relations/communication skills, Comfort with change, and Creativity and flexibility in problem resolution.
