MHCCI-Psychiatric Response Team(PRT) Clinician- Contractual-Springfield In Illinois Job Details

Minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or closely related human service field from accredited university.  Master's degree or LCPC/LCSW preferred. Previous Mental Health experience required. Must be willing to work on a team and be comfortable working in a fast-paced ER environment. Will repsond to a pager while on-call for each 8 hour shift and must work at least 2 shifts per month and at least 2 holiday shifts per year.

Performs face-to-face crisis intervention assessments on all individuals presenting with a mental illness and are in acute distress.  The work environment is fast-paced and located in the local emergency departments.  PRT is responsible for providing care 24 hours/ 7 days a week including holidays.  Diagnostic skills, crisis intervention experience, and knowledge of community resources are required.
