BASIC FUNCTION:

The Supervisor operates within Memorial Medical Center's Corporate, Hospital and Divisional and Departmental mission, philosophy, goals and objectives.  The Supervisor in cooperation and or collaboration with the Manager is responsible for the assigning, supervising and coordinating of operation of the Department of EMS & Emergency Medicine.

Specifications:  Knowledge, Training, Work Experience & Physical Effort

1.         Registered Professional Nurse in the State of Illinois;

2.         Minimum of five (5) years experience in emergency services required;

3.         Minimum of three (3) years experience in a leadership/management position preferred;

4.         Certification in ACLS, TNS, MICU, ECRN, PALS

5.         Successful completion of EMS & Emergency Medicine Orientation program.

6.         BSN held or being actively pursued.
