Minimum Master's degree, preferably in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or closely related human service field from accredited university. LCPC/LCSW preferred. Previous Mental Health experience required.
Performs face-to-face crisis intervention assessments on all individuals presenting with a mental illness and are in acute distress. The work environment is fast-paced and located in local emergency departments. PRT is responsible for providing care 24/7 days a week including holidays. Must be willing to work on a team and carry a pager for each scheduled 8 hour shift. Diagnostic skills, crisis intervention experience, and knowledge of community resources are required.
