MHCCI - Residential Advisor FT - Springfield In Illinois Job Details

Hours: 12:00am to 8:00am--- Tuesday thru Saturday

Must be at least 21 years of age, have valid driver's license, and High school diploma plus 2 years experience in the helping professions or Associates degree required. 

Experience working in mental health facility, especially with persons in crisis situation preferred. Good interpersonal and communication skills desirable.  Must have computer/typing skills.  Must be able to lift and carry at least twenty-five pounds for storing of commodities, assist in setting up rooms, provide CPR/First aid if needed, and lift clients if required.

Supports group home residents in meeting their Individual Treatment Plan goals and monitors compliance with medication and progress in coordination with case managers.  Organizes household functions including laundry, grocery inventories, stocking groceries, meal preparation, etc.
