Basic Function: Under general supervision, manages day-to-day customer contact and determines and/or resolves complex problems with designated product line(s) on-site. Interfaces with technical and in-house customer service personnel to determine exact nature of problem and implements remedial procedures for customer. Prepares regular and special reports documenting purchasing history and procedures for addressing data extraction needs of the department. Maintains currency and highest level of technical skill in field of expertise. Conducts training sessions for less experienced staff.
Requirements for this position include:1. Bachelor?s Degree in computer science, business, or related discipline, or equivalent experience in a systems or health care related job. 2. General understanding of computer system concepts including hardware, software, operating systems, and communications.3. Proven experience with increasing support responsibility, documentation skills, communication, system responsibility, and upgrade management as an Application Analyst Intermediate or equivalent experience in a systems support position.4. Thorough understanding of assigned application functions and structure of existing systems at MHS. 5. Demonstrated skill in developing and maintaining good interpersonal relationships as well as having good verbal and written communication skills.
