Hours: 7:30am-6:00pm with rotating and on call weekends

Basic Function: Special Procedures Techs preform responsible technical work on patients 15 years of age and older in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and are responsible for the operation of various types of equipment and apparatus in providing assistance and support to the physicians conducting cardiac equipment and radiation safety.

Requirements for this position include: graduate of approved School of Radiology or provides proof of being registry eligible and Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety Licensure. Upon employment, candidate is required to pass all radiation safety classes as well as successfully complete a basic EKG class.
