Basic Function: Manage the production of Health System branding and advertising messages.  Manage the development, design and production of program-specific advertising for Memorial Medical Center and other affiliates.  Participate in the annual branding, marketing and advertising planning process.  Maintain expenditures within budgeted levels.  Manage the placement of Yellow Pages listings and advertising for MHS affiliates.  Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with Office of Communication coworkers; allied staff (Print Shop; Photography); Health System clients; and vendors.


 


Requirements of the position include: Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, public relations, communications, journalism or related field; Minimum of five years' experience required in advertising with proven skills in copywriting and understanding of message production for print, broadcast, outdoor and Web-based media; Proven self-starter capable of working on multiple assignments simultaneously; Proven ability to successfully work under deadline pressures; Proven team player with excellent interpersonal communication, organizational and time management skills required to foster strong relationships with coworkers and clients from throughout the Health System; Strong personal and professional commitment to the MHS Communication Office's Standards of Excellence; Strong personal and professional commitment to Memorial Health System's mission, vision, values and a Health System culture devoted to patient safety, clinical effectiveness and quality of care; Moderate physical effort.
