Pharmacy Runner In Illinois Job Details

Basic Function: Under the direct guidance and supervision of a licensed Pharmacist(s), and following all Federal and State regulations, delivers medications to required areas throughout the hospital.

Requirements for this position include:

1.         Must be at least 16 years of age.

2.         Is able to obtain a pharmacy technician license within 60 days of employment. (Employer will assist with this process)

3.         Ability to follow written and verbal directions.

4.         Ability to handle moderate physical effort ? such as standing, sitting, walking for extended periods of time and pushing up to 50 pounds.

5.         Demonstrates appropriate interpersonal skills.

6.         Certification within first 2 years of licensure (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board).
