Fiscal Services Analyst In Illinois Job Details

Basic Function: Under the general direction of the Manager, Fiscal Services, the Senior Fiscal Services Analyst will be responsible for performing analysis in support of the Finance Division.  Special Projects could include development and maintenance of the consolidated 5-year plan, development and maintenance of the current year rolling forecast, consolidated financial analysis, implementation of new processes, facilitating ongoing cross functional teams for all finance related functions, evaluation of existing and new programs and monitoring of Finance Division Quality Standards.

Requirements for this position include:

1)     Bachelor Degree in Arts or Science with a major in accounting, finance, or information systems.  MBA and/or CPA preferred but not required.

2)     Requires a minimum of three to five years of accounting, financial analysis or information systems experience.

3)     Requires three to five years working experience with automated General ledgers and related systems.

4)     Demonstrated ability to utilize spreadsheet software (EXCEL or LOTUS 1-2-3) and database (Access and/or report writers) software effectively.

5)     Good communication and people skills are required.

6)     Must be able to work in a fast changing environment.
