Basic Function: Administers programs designed to provide support to managers and employees on problem resolution, policy/procedure advice, resolve EEO issues, manage unemployment compensation claims, minimize the opportunities for third party interventions (unionization), and to administer activities that provide fair employment practices. Assist in the development of pro-active plans and initiatives which a have a positive employee relation impact within the organization. Requirements of the position include: Bachelor's Degree in HR/LR or related field. Master's degree is desirable;Two years HR experience in a large environment, preferably service oriented;Demonstrated knowledge of EEO laws such as Title VII, ADEA, Pregnancy Discrimination Act, Equal Pay Act, Executive Order 11246, FLSA, FMLA, Civil Rights Act of 1991, ADA and relevant State and local ordinances. Demonstrated knowledge of the NLRA is also required; Interpersonal behaviors that exceed customer expectations; the ability to be creative in issue resolution; the ability to act as a business partner.
