TMH-Registrar In Illinois Job Details

Hours: 2:30pm-11pm with EOW

Basic Function: Performs registrations, discharges and transfers for all patients, while obtaining/verifying all required information and obtaining the appropriate signatures in a timely manner.  Promptly greets patients/family members and offers assistance.  Possess an ability to be flexible, organized and function well in a stressful situation.  Promptly answers switchboard and transfers calls appropriately. 

Requirements of this position include: High school graduate or equivalent.  Previous typing, word processing and computer application experience preferred.  Able to use a 10 key pad and calculator.  Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  Demonstrate ability to work independently.  Physically able to transport patients.
