Respiratory Service Technician In Illinois Job Details

Basic Function: Visits customer homes for the purpose of assessing, testing, and monitoring respiratory therapy care equipment. Reports equipment utilization discrepancies compared to treatment plan.

Requirements of the position include:

1.         Graduation from high school, or the equivalency, is required.

2.         Previous work experience in a home medical equipment retail capacity or health care customer service role is strongly preferred.

3.         Must possess valid Illinois drivers license and must be deemed as an acceptable driver in accordance with the MHS Fleet Safety Policy (five year MVR will be required). Must have availability of personal vehicle with proof of insurance.

4.         Possesses good oral communication, customer relations, and interpersonal skills.

5.         Possesses basic computer keyboarding skills and the ability to use Mestamed and Microsoft Word software.

6.         Demonstrates the ability to successfully complete the assigned/required education and training within first 30 days of employment.

7.         Demonstrates the ability to push and pull up to 60 pounds.
