Basic Function: Performs EKG's on patients of all ages. Applies Holter and Event monitors on patients of all ages. Performs pacemaker enrollments as well as patient teaching. Performs plethysmography
Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent, two years experience in a medical field preferred, certification in Cardiac Technology by the American Cardiology Association preferred, basic EKG and 12-lead interpretation within one year of employment, ability to perform basic functions of the job within ninety days of employment.
