Phlebotomist/Lab Assistant I In Illinois Job Details

Hours: 12:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Every Other Monday & Friday and EOW

Basic Function: Perform basic phlebotomy and laboratory assistant duties. A variety of tasks fall within this classification such as blood collection from patients of all ages, performance of urinalysis and other functions within the department under the supervision of  a medical technologist.

Requirements for this position include: High school graduate required, manual dexterity is essential, ability to accurately follow directions and perform specific functions, ability to communicate effectively with hospitalized patients and outpatients, moderate physical effort.
