Act as an internal resource to the CV division for the management of financial data and processes as well as strategic and operational initiatives. Support CV division in all aspects of financial management including proactive analysis of resource costs, supply expenses, sources of revenue and ensuring compliance with all contracts. Dedicated resource for the development, tracking and reporting of complex budgetary and financial functions of CV Division. Accountable to assist all CV Managers, Director and Administrator with the planning, organizing, implementing and monitoring of the annual fiscal budget and the department?s CDM. Accountable to oversee the timely and accurate pre-registration/registration, Medicare medical necessity review and insurance verification for the CV division. Collaborates with other departments to support cost savings initiatives. Provides oversight and monitoring of all departments charging, resource allocation, supply/inventory expenses and reimbursement to identify areas of potential negative impact and opportunities for improvement. Strong accounting, financial analysis and communications skills are required for success in this role that is responsible for providing visibility to the financial status of the CV division. Must be able to organize and prioritize multiple projects effectively.
Requirements for this position include:
1. Bachelors Degree in accounting or finance required. CPA preferred. MBA preferred.
2. 5 to 10 years relevant experience required. Public accounting experience preferred. Continuously increasing financial responsibility required including accounting, reporting, financial analysis and project management experience required. Project accounting experience preferred.
3. Three to five years of supervisory/managerial experience required.
4. Revenue cycle management experience preferred.
5. Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Access Database required. Microsoft Project experience
preferred.
6. Charge Master experience preferred.
7. Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
8. Demonstrated experience creating executive level presentation documents required.
9. Contract management experience preferred. Experience with Meditract contract management system preferred.
10. Three years or more experience in a health care related area preferred particularly related to financial analysis experience.
11. Demonstrated ability to work successfully with others in technical and non-technical roles required.
