Cardiovascular Technician In Illinois Job Details

Hours: 11:00a.m.-9:30p.m. with rotational weekends and call

Basic Function: Assists and scrubs on all Cardiac Cath Lab procedures utilizing all standards for quality and patient safety. Demonstrates knowledge and adherence to JCAHO, federal, and state regulations. Actively participates in the routine checks of clinical, electronic, and all other equipment used in the department within the scope of practice.

Requirements: Graduate of accredited cardiovascular technician program preferred. BLS required and ACLS preferred within 12-24 months of hire date. Medical training preferred or minimum of 1 year patient care experience required. Able to assist and scrub, at a proficient level, all procedures related to the department in both acute and stable patients.
