Nurse Intern (formerly Titled Nurse Extern) In Illinois Job Details

Nurse Intern positions are currently available for the summer of 2009. Clinical sites are negotiated at the time of hire. You will work under the direct supervision of an RN and provide age-appropriate care for a designated group of patients through the appropriate utilization of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. You will work closely with the RN to assimilate the act upon data reflective of the patient's status and to develop organizational and critical thinking skills.

Requirements for this position include:

Completion in good standing of two semesters of an ADN program, or be qualified for senior status in a BSN program;

G.P.A. of 2.5 or greater is required.
