CMN Representative In Illinois Job Details

Basic Function: Obtains, clarifies and processes Certificates of Medical Necessity (CMN) required for the issuance and reimbursement of home (durable) medical equipment and supplies.

Requirements for this position include:

1. Education equivalent to graduation from high school.


2. One or more years of medical experience, coupled with a sound working knowledge of medical equipment, terminology and medical coding is preferred.


3. Basic to Intermediate computer skills and the ability use USS and Microsoft Software. 


4. Possesses good oral communication and interpersonal skills.


5. Must possess valid Illinois drivers license and must be deemed as an acceptable driver in accordance with the MHS Fleet Safety Policy (five year MVR will be required). Must have availability of personal vehicle with proof of insurance.
